With more than 52 years of professional experience, Ms. Piech excels in utilizing her listening and people management skills and is responsible for practicing internal medicine and teaching cardiopulmonary resuscitation procedures. She became involved in her profession because she was inspired by a nurse who treated her for appendectomy at the age of 13. She considers receiving gratitude from patients and doctors to be the most rewarding aspect of her career and attributes her success to the support she receives from the people around her.

Ms. Piech became a Registered Nurse through Shadyside Hospital School of Nursing and University of Pittsburgh in 1956, is a member of the American Nurses Association and the Case Management Society of America. She hopes to continue her professional growth in the future.
