Cathy Williamson is being honored for her accomplishments in nursing


BOCA RATON, FL, July 3, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cathy Williamson, Triage Nurse for Hospice by the Sea, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of nursing.

Ms. Williamson is a Registered Nurse and a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse. An expert in pain management, she is proud to lend her talents to Hospice by the Sea, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing compassionate care to patients living with life-limiting conditions. As triage nurse, she is responsible for planning, directing and evaluating overall nursing, personal, physical, emotional, spiritual and social needs of patients and their families.

In addition to being an RN and a CHPN, Ms. Williamson received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 1975 and studied at Rutgers, The State University Graduate School. She also holds certification in Healing Touch, Level III, Reiki, Level II, and Geriatric care Management. Her professional affiliations include the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association and the American Holistic Nurses Association. Her plans for the future include focusing more of her time on healing and energy work.
