Krause, Sealift Emergency Operations Planner for the Maritime Administration at the United States Department of Transportation, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of transportation operations.
As the Sealift Emergency Operations Planner for the Maritime Administration at the United States Department of Transportation, Mr. Krause is responsible for managing the operations of Department of Transportation Maritime Command Center including all government-controlled ships, maintaining ships, keeping the fleet ready for emergency preparedness, and contracting services to support the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Department of Homeland Security. He has a background as a Navy Commander and has worked in the government sector for 30 years, including the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Defense. He attributes his success to his hard work, perseverance and to the training he received in the United States Naval Academy.
Mr. Krause received his Bachelor of Arts in Physics from the United States Naval Academy in 1984. He has been honored with the 25 Year Federal Service Award, the Navy Commendation Medal, the Joint Commendation Medal and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.
