EL PASO, TX, March 09, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Diana C. Forti, Chief Administrative Officer for the U.S. Section of the International Boundary and Water Commission, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in administrative management.

With 19 years of experience in government service, Diana C. Forti is known as an expert in budget management. In 2002, she assumed her current position at the IBWC, an agency that governs the administration of water-rights treaties and agreements between the United States and Mexico. As the chief administrative officer, she is responsible for advising the U.S. commissioner on key policy-level issues, and delivering expert support and assistance to the commissioner and agency in the areas of acquisitions, budget, finance, accounting, information technology, records management and asset management.

The recipient of numerous honors, Ms. Forti was recognized with three Federal Civil Service Meritorious Service Awards, an Exceptional Service Award, a Garrison Command Certificate of Appreciation, a Commander's Award for Civilian Service, an Achievement Medal for Civilian Service, and a Special Act Awards. She attributes her success to her commitment and passion for her profession.

Ms. Forti earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in 1986 from The University of Texas at El Paso. Her professional affiliations include the Association of Government Accountants and the American Society of Military Comptrollers. In five years, Ms. Forti aspires to attain a government position in Washington, DC.
