Michel L. Cyrenne has been accepted among the ranks of prominent professionals with Stanford Who's Who due to his sensational work in Government.


ESTEVAN, SK,CANADA, March 13, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Michel L. Cyrenne has been accepted among the ranks of prominent professionals with Stanford Who's Who due to his sensational work in Government. As Executive Director of the Estevan District Board of Tourism Trade & Commerce he has consistently performed at an outstanding level.

Located in Southeast Saskatchewan, Estevan has become known as the Energy Capital of the province as a result of their extraordinary resource base. Two nearby coal mines provide fuel for the two local power stations responsible for generating nearly half of Saskatchewan's base load power. The oilfield in the area is a significant contributor of economic wealth and prosperity. Home to more than 200 businesses directly related to the oilfield, Estevan is the primary service center for the hugely popular Bakken oilfield.

The tremendous opportunity available in the Estevan area has led to a community known as the youngest in all of Saskatchewan and also as the city ranked #1 in all of Canada in terms of discretionary income.

Michel is involved in economic development, project development, tourist attractions, research and statistics for the Chamber of Commerce in Estevan. In order to keep up to date on his knowledge base, he is a regular reader of The Economist and Canadian Business.

Mr. Cyrenne earned a Bachelor's Degree in Geography from the University of Regina in 2003. He is a member of the Saskatchewan Economic Development Association, Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce and the Soft Trade & Export Partnership. Michel enjoys camping and biking in his leisure time and is an avid hockey and baseball fan.
