Influenced to enter her profession by her prior experience handling children's behavioral issues, Ms. Ford has 28 years of experience. For the last eight years, she has worked as a behavioral health care manager for WellPoint, Inc. Due to her hard work and determination, she has been able to manage psychiatric cases through inpatient, outpatient and residential treatment programs. After reviewing clinical information, she determines the appropriate level of patient care to administer and medication to dispense.

In 1982, Ms. Ford received a Master of Education, with a concentration in family counseling, from The University of Arizona. Before this, she graduated from Millersville University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in secondary education, with a focus on English. She is licensed as a professional counselor by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.
