Betty C. Rickman Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Student Welfare Programs
Betty Rickman received a Lead Pioneer Award in 2007

TATUM, NM, November 9, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Betty C. Rickman, Board Member of the New Mexico Junior College Foundation, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in student welfare programs.

Ms. Rickman has 31 years of experience in nonprofit work, and four years of experience as a board member for the New Mexico Junior College Foundation. With expertise in people management, she serves on the board's environmental committee and administers athletic, nursing and computer science scholarships. Prior to joining New Mexico Junior College Foundation, which promotes student welfare programs, Ms. Rickman was a postmaster for 31 years and served as the mayor of Tatum for 16 years. She attributes her success to her ability to work directly with people on all levels of society.

Ms. Rickman is a member of the New York Stock Exchange Stock Investment Club, and is treasurer of both the New Mexico Chamber of Commerce and Postmaster Retirees. She received a Lead Pioneer Award in 2007, and was recognized as a VIP Member for 2010-2011 by Cambridge Who's Who. In five years, Ms. Rickman hopes to continue working with local affiliates, including the of Commerce and Postmaster Retirees.
