Dr. Jerry Hammersmith Earns Membership With Stanford Who's Who
Dr. Jerry Hammersmith has earned the recognition of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his remarkable work in the area of human resources.
SASKATOON, SK, CANADA, November 13, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Dr. Jerry Hammersmith has earned the recognition of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his remarkable work in the areas of For Profit and Non-Profit Enterprise Operational, Management and human resources planning and development.. As a Partner in J&J Planning and Development Consulting, as well as throughout his brilliant professional career, Dr. Hammersmith has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
J&J Planning and Development Consulting is a consultancy which works in strategic, operational and human resources planning and development for both private and non-profit clients. They specialize in Community Economic, Social, Education, Governance and Entrepreneurship development and planning.
Dr. Hammersmith has been working with Saskatchewan and Canadian First Nations, Metis and Inuit Indigenous people, as well as New Zealand Maori and Zimbabwean Shona and Ndebele people since 1963. He has taught in Saskatchewan and New Zealand universities as well as in the First Nations Forum, the Gabriel Dumont Institute, and the Dumont Technical Institute.
Dr. Hammersmith has also served as a Provincial Cabinet Minister and as a Territorial Deputy Minister in Canada. He has taught and practiced entrepreneurship, economic, small business, community development, and training of trainers in Indigenous communities provincially, nationally and internationally, using an approach that assures institutionalization of the technology in the client community.
During his collegiate career, Dr. Hammersmith earned a Bachelor of Education degree (with Great Distinction) and a Master of Education degree in Indian and Northern Education from the University of Saskatchewan. He also earned a Doctor of Education degree in Comparative Education from the University of South Africa, where his thesis was Converging Indigenous and Western Knowledge Systems: Implications for Tertiary Education. Dr. Hammersmith serves as a Faculty Member at The Banff Centre.
