Kristyn S. Trealout Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Language Arts
Ms. Trealout was selected as a VIP member for 2011-2012
VENICE, FL, November 9, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kristyn S. Trealout, Teacher for Woodland Middle School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in language arts.
Ms. Trealout has nine years of experience as an educator, spending the last three teaching seventh grade and remedial eighth grade language arts at Woodland Middle School. Her mother, who was a kindergarten teacher, was the person who inspired her to pursue a career in education. With a background in history, Ms. Trealout runs the school's professional learning community program. She also serves as the Builder's Club adviser and holds parent-teacher conferences through counselors as needed.
In 2008 Ms. Trealout earned a Master of Science in Integrated Technology from Walden University, and plans to pursue a Master of Science in Counseling in the future. A certified 5-9 language arts and English teacher by the State of Florida, she is also pursuing reading endorsement. She is a member of the Sarasota Reading Council and the Florida Reading Association. In 2007 she was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at Fremont Ross High School.
