Local Heroes Attend New York City Mission Society Dinner
Justiin Davis and Kym Hampton Spread Love for Thanksgiving
NEW YORK, NY, November 30, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The guests at New York City Mission Society's 9th Annual Thanksgiving Community Dinner received a special surprise this week. Actor Justiin Davis and WNBA star Kym Hampton shared a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with youth and families on Tuesday, November 22nd. Held at the Minisink Townhouse in Central Harlem, the event caters to local residents of underprivileged communities
As a result of the challenging economic climate, and financial difficulty, many of the attendees were grateful for the meal, and even more elated to be in the company of Davis, the co-star of HBO's Boardwalk Empire, as well as Hampton, the former New York Liberty, actress and model. The special guests shared their experiences and encouraging words. Both local heroes, their moving personal stories were well-received.
On December 8, 2011, Justiin Davis will attend New York Mission Society's Annual Holiday Board Gathering, celebrating the myriad of contributions made by the organization's Board and alumni.
