HATFIELD, PA, November 18, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michael Blakney, Manager of the Financial Planning and Analysis Department at Imaging Sciences International, LLC, has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Accounting. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.

Mr. Blakney, who has accrued 12 years of experience in his field, recently joined Imaging Sciences International, LLC, to serve as a lead for financial analysis and handle the reporting and cost activities for U.S. imaging businesses. He enjoys coordinating financial reporting processors and participating in Imaging Sciences International, LLC's daily business operations.

Attributing his success to his hard work and strong organizational skills, Mr. Blakney became involved in his profession because he has always been good with numbers and found that the work was a good fit for his personality and skills. He received a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Windsor in 1995, and a CMA designation in 2000. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs. In the future, Mr. Blakney looks forward to taking on a more senior role.
