HONG KONG, November 25, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who proudly welcomes Priscilla Mak Tang Yau Cheong to the distinguished ranks of leading professionals as a result of her exceptional effort in the fashion industry. Throughout her brilliant professional career, Priscilla has routinely demonstrated the passion, vision and perseverance necessary to be successful in the business world.
Priscilla is an extremely talented illustrator and architect with over 30 years of professional experience. She has worked as a Freelance Fashion Editorial-Trend Illustrator for Inside Fashion magazine for the past 17 years. Priscilla's work has also been featured in Elle and Harper's Bazaar. Priscilla is always ready to take on more global assignments for top fashion magazines and fashion shows in top cities around the world.
In addition, she serves as a Teacher of Fashion Illustration at the University of Hong Kong's School of Professional and Continuing Education (HKU SPACE). In the past, Priscilla taught Fashion Drawing as a Guest Lecturer at Hong Kong Polytechnic University and taught the Honors Degree Program at the Swire School of Design.
Prior to becoming a freelance fashion illustrator, Priscilla served as an Assistant Architect in Hong Kong with Spence Robinson and Wong & Ouyang Ltd. before earning the role of Senior Architect with Promet Consultancy in Malaysia. She went on to work in the architecture field in New York for 5 years before attending the Fashion Institute of Technology and moving into the area of fashion illustration.
During her collegiate career, Priscilla earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Singapore and an Associate's degree in Fashion Illustration from the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She is a member of the Hong Kong Society of Illustrators and the Heritage Baptist Church of Hong Kong, where she teaches English for a special needs group. Priscilla has also been recognized in the Who's Who Black Book of Stanford Who's Who due to her achievements, contributions and leadership in the fashion industry. Additionally, in September of 2011, Priscilla was invited by Google.com to have her fashion portfolio showcased with their network.
