Stanley K. Dickinson Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Geology
Dr. Dickinson has been named a Professional of the Year for 2011-2012

CHARLES TOWN, WV, November 17, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Stanley Dickinson, Geologist at GeoHelp Ltd., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in geology.

Dr. Dickinson has 45 years of experience in geology, including 20 years at GeoHelp Ltd. His areas of expertise include high-pressure geology, seismic activity, iron furnaces from the 1800s and Potomac River geology. Dr. Dickinson performs laboratory research and has published his scientific findings. In addition, he has written a children's book, "The Epic Journey of George Quartz," and contributed to a website about geological attractions along the C&O Canal, which is a National Historic Park in the Potomac Valley.

He earned a Ph.D. from Harvard University, an accomplishment of which he is particularly proud. Dr. Dickinson is also a member of Phi Delta Theta. He served as secretary of the U.S. Air Force for acquisition and is affiliated with the Air Force Research Laboratory. His love for the outdoors led him to his profession.
