As the director of sales for NuCal Foods Inc., a marketing co-op representing several family farms in Central California, Ms. Lape is responsible for sales and marketing in Northern California. She regularly balances the company's sales budgets and forecasts its future business. She attributes her success throughout her 29-year career to her strategic thinking and networking skills as well as her ability to maintain professional relationships.

Ms. Lape holds a bachelor's degree in mass communication from the University of California, Davis. She is a member of Illuminators, a food industry group, and a board member of the Sales Managers Club of San Francisco. She is also the 2012 chair for the East Bay Scout Council Awards Luncheon and the 2010 recipient of their Distinguished Citizen award. Ms. Lape is an Executive Board member of the Northern California Food Industries Circle and is a regular presenter at the annual City of Hope Festival Ball. Going forward, she intends to continue working in her current position.
