Veronica Kvassetskaia-Tsyglan Joins The Ranks Of Stanford Who's Who
Veronica Kvassetskaia-Tsyglan has earned the recognition of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her outstanding effort in the arts.

TORONTO, ON, CANADA, November 24, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Veronica Kvassetskaia-Tsyglan has earned the recognition of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her outstanding effort in the arts. As Founder and President of the Portrait Society of Canada, as well as throughout her brilliant professional career, Veronica has consistently exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.

Veronica is an internationally renowned master portrait artist and a leading figure in the contemporary revival of classical tradition of fine art portraiture in Canada. As founder and president of the Portrait Society of Canada, she has helped promote the value of portraiture throughout the country for the last 15 years. The Portrait Society of Canada is a public organization, dedicated to fostering the practice, techniques and aesthetics of Fine Art Portraiture and Sculpture through public education.

Veronica is a Russian-born professional portrait artist who has been the recipient of numerous awards due to her skill and expertise in the field, including First place and People's Choice Award winner from the International Portrait Competition in Toronto in 2002. She studied art and art history at Moscow's Surikov Academy of Fine Arts and Moscow State University, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and History. Veronica later worked towards perfecting her skills in Frankfurt, Germany working in the restoration field, copying the old masters works in European Museums and then in Larnaca, Cyprus where she studied Greek Orthodox iconography at the Agia Mina Monastery.

Kvassetskaia-Tsyglan's work has been exhibited in Europe and North America and is included in several museums and prestigious private and corporate collections throughout the world. She has painted commissioned portraits of such esteemed people as famed baritone Dmitri Hvorostovsky, arts patron Sonja Bata, The Countess Von Wedel of Hanover of Germany, Famous Canadian Opera director Tom Diamond, and electric violinist Dr. Draw. Veronica is a current member of the Arts and Letters Club of Toronto.
