Roxanne Hemming has achieved her lifelong dream of a successful career in finance

HINCKLEY, MN, December 29, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Roxanne Hemming, Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Grand Casino Hinckley, has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Casino and Resort Financing. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.

Ms. Hemming combines her passion for all things financial with building a strong team in her capacity as the vice president of finance and chief financial officer at Grand Casino Hinckley. She has been the CFO for six years, and has dedicated nearly 20 years to the casino and resort. As an executive, she is responsible for the entire Finance Team and the overall performance of the company. Her team is in charge of all the cash needs of the company and the accurate reporting of all activities generated at the property, which Food and Beverage Outlets, Golf Course, Spa, Retail Shops, and, of coarse, gaming activities.

After raising her children, Ms. Hemming went back to college to pursue her dream of becoming a finance professional; she obtained a bachelor's degree in finance, with a concentration in accounting, from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management. She furthered her skills in the field by becoming certified as an instructor in the leadership for results and investment in excellence series. She is affiliated with Phi Theta Kappa and volunteers with other local organizations.
