Delphie Nielsen Conveys her Vision with Safe Transportation for Students

LAKEWOOD, WA, December 9, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Delphie Nielsen, Director of Transportation for Clover Park School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in transportation services.

With 19 years of experience in her field, Ms. Nielsen has utilized her knowledge and expertise to successfully fulfill her role as the director of transportation for the Clover Park School District. For the last five years, she has led her department by establishing processes and procedures, overseeing day-to-day operations, and setting the vision for the school district in providing safe transportation for students and the community.

Attributing her success to her work ethic and desire to make a difference, Ms. Nielsen became involved in her profession because it was a challenge. Since her arrival, she has seen the evolution of the sector: when she began working for the department, there was only one computer, and everything was done manually.

Ms. Nielsen is pursuing an Associate of Arts from the University of Washington and is thoroughly active in the school's community networks. She is a member of the Washington Association for Pupil Transportation, the Washington Association of School Business Officials and NAPT.
