Donna Greenspan Solomon, Esq., Named VIP of the Year For Excellence in Law
Donna Greenspan Solomon focuses her practice on mediation & arbitration, appeals, and litigation support

WEST PALM BEACH, FL, December 27, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Donna Greenspan Solomon, Esq., President of Solomon Mediation and Arbitration, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in legal services.

Donna has been litigating complex commercial cases and handling appeals in state and federal courts for over sixteen years. Her cases have involved employment issues, trade secrets and noncompetes, real estate litigation, insurance coverage and bad faith. The Florida Bar has certified Donna as an expert in both appellate practice and business litigation. Donna also has an MBA in Finance, and was a Certified Public Accountant for over thirteen years before attending law school. Donna now utilizes her uniquely blended background in the field of alternative dispute resolution. Donna is a FL Supreme Court Certified Circuit-Civil Mediator, a FL Supreme Court Certified Appellate Mediator, and a Florida Supreme Court Qualified Arbitrator. She is also in the process of becoming certified as a Family Mediator, and has completed the Residential Mortgage Foreclosure Mediation Training. Martindale Hubbell has given Donna its highest rating: AV Preeminent 5.0 out of 5.

Donna graduated at the top of her law school class from Nova Southeastern University, and then clerked for Florida Supreme Court Justice Barbara Pariente at the Fourth District Court of Appeal. Following her clerkship, Donna was with the national law firm now known as Edwards Wildman. Later, Donna became a partner in a boutique litigation firm, where she chaired the appellate practice group.

Before becoming a lawyer, Donna was an auditor with Price Waterhouse in New York City, and then a Manager of Accounting and Financial Reporting for Penn Central Corporation. After moving to Florida in 1987, Donna became an Assistant Vice President/Manager of Financial Reporting for Intercontinental Bank in Miami, and later performed financial systems analysis for American Express before entering law school.

Donna has been recognized with several awards for her pro bono work and has been a leader in various professional organizations. Donna has published numerous articles, given presentations, and participated in panel discussions concerning various business-related areas of the law. Donna also taught Accounting for Lawyers as an adjunct professor for Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University.

In light of her accomplishments, Ms. Solomon was recently named a VIP of the Year by Cambridge Who's Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown commitment to achieving personal and professional goals. Ms. Solomon has received several other formal recognitions for her work, including two from the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County.
