DELTA, OH, December 29, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Gemma Curci, Manager of Human Resources at North Star BlueScope Steel, LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in human resources.

Having worked in the human resources field for approximately 10 years, Ms. Curci has established a work history built on her knowledge of employee engagement, performance management, workplace negotiations and cost reduction exercises. Currently, she works as the manager of human resources for North Star BlueScope Steel, LLC, where she works to maintain and grow the effective working relationships within the organization. During her career, she has had the opportunity to gain extensive knowledge of Australian workplace legislation, and recognises the importance of direct employee engagement.

Currently pursuing a master's degree, Ms. Curci earned a Bachelor of Commerce in human resource management from the University of Wollongong in 2004, being added to the Deans Honour Roll in her final year of study. She continues to network within her field through affiliation with Illawara Human Resource Network, the University of Wollongong Alumni Group and the Australian Human Resource Institute.

Ms. Curci is an active member of Raise the Gong, a women's health charity located in Wollongong, Australia. Gemma recently resigned from her position as the Vice President of Raise the Gong, but remains committed to the cause, and continues to support this wonderful organization.
