Giuliano Giannone Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Hospitality
Giuliano Giannone of The Pack House Inn has published a collection of colonial recipes

EDENTON, NC, December 28, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Giuliano Giannone, Innkeeper for The Pack House Inn, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in hospitality.

Mr. Giannone has devoted 30 years to the hospitality business, and is renowned for his skill and success in running sensational restaurants. For the last four years, he has overseen operations for The Pack House Inn, an historic and picturesque bed and breakfast. In his role as innkeeper and co-owner, he wears many hats, including that of chef. He handles customer service when he's not in the kitchen, and manages all of the inn's business dealings.

In addition to his multiple responsibilities at the inn, Mr. Giannone published "A Colonial Innkeeper's Cookbook," featuring historic recipes modified for today's standards of cooking. Attributing his success to his hard work, he became involved in his profession because he was already in the restaurant business and comes from a family of restaurateurs. Furthermore, since he retired, this was a great opportunity for him.

Mr. Giannone holds an associate degree in business from Cape Fear Community College. In addition, he achieved certification in pastries from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in 1999. Just this year he has been recognized with the National Innkeeper of the Year award. The Pack House Inn has also won the Inn of the South award. In the upcoming years, furthering his journey into the worlds of hospitality and gastronomy, Mr. Giannone hopes to publish another book and open a restaurant.
