Dr. Karen Coe Donohoo has over 21 years of diverse national and international assignment experience. Her career success has spanned specialties such as Leadership Training and Development, Executive Assessment/Coaching, Human Resource Management and, for the past 21 years, she has led a Calgary-based successful business providing executive search talent management services. In 2001 she sold her company, Coe & Company International Inc., to TMP/Monster.com and subsequently repurchased her firm and rebranded it as Karen Coe & Associates Ltd, and rebranded recently as Donohoo & Company Ltd,. to provide a customized client service offering executive search solutions. In her position, she communicates with clients and candidates, supervises teams, performs pro bono work within her community, and provides talent management advisory and customized assessment services.

In 1979, Dr. Coe received a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. At 21 years of age, she was the youngest candidate to have completed her Ph.D. at the University of Calgary. Her awards for academic excellence were from the Province of Alberta, and she received one of the ten prestigious Sir Izaak Walton Killam Foundation Doctoral Scholarships. She has published in her area and subsequently been a sought-after public speaker on management issues and leadership sustainability/wellness for national audiences such as Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Royal Bank of Canada Management Conferences, Globe & Mail Business TV, Conference Board of Canada and quoted in leading papers and journals. Karen was interviewed and appeared on CNN Network business news cable stations in 2007 for her practices on attraction and retention of leaders. In 2000, Karen was nominated by the Royal Bank of Canada for Small Business Owner of the Year (Calgary). Karen is a member of the Human Resources Institute of Alberta (HRIA) and is a Certified Psychologist and member of the Psychology Association of Alberta (PAA).
