NORRISTOWN, PA, December 9, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Susan Ramonat, Director of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) for SEI, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in the investment processing and asset management services industries.

Acting in a capacity as Chief Risk Officer at SEI, Ms. Ramonat is a senior financial services executive known for far-sighted and pragmatic leadership. She has over 25 years of financial services experience, ranging from retail and institutional securities sales to security analysis, product development, financial modeling, M&A analysis, strategic planning, and risk management.

Ms. Ramonat has worked at SEI for 15 years, the last 3 in her current role as Director of ERM. At SEI, Ms. Ramonat works with internal audit, legal, compliance, finance, operations, technology, product development, and investment management to identify and manage risks that best meet agreed-upon enterprise objectives and risk appetite as the company continues to globalize its markets, service offerings, and operating model. As such, she advises and supports senior management and the board of directors in fulfilling their oversight obligations. In her principal role, Ms. Ramonat supervises vendor management, outsourcing governance, insurance, counterparty risk, business resilience, and identity/access management.

Ms. Ramonat came to her position at SEI with an extensive background in the securities and banking businesses. She served previously as director of retail banking services at Bank of Mid-Jersey, equity securities analyst at Cashman Farrell & Associates, vice president of institutional equity sales at Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc., and vice president of institutional equity sales at E.F. Hutton & Co. She started her career as a retail stock broker. Her broad experience at SEI and in the industry enables her to support senior management and the company's board in managing strategic, operational, financial, compliance, and reputation risks as well as what it takes to meet clients' needs. She attributes her success to strong relationships with colleagues, understanding of the financial services business, persistence, and resilience.

Ms. Ramonat is currently a member of the risk committee of the Investment Company Institute and the Financial Services Division of the Information Sharing and Advisory Council. Ms. Ramonat holds a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University, awarded magna cum laude, and is an accomplished golfer. She also enjoys travel and reading in her spare time.
