At Argenta Discovery, Dr. Montana Celebrates 28 Years in the Pharmaceutical Industry

This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

Dr. Montana is an expert 'Drug Hunter' with significant experience in respiratory and inflammatory diseases and oncology, and for the past seven years has brought his proficiency to Argenta Discovery, a contract drug discovery company. In his role as managing director, he conducts research and oversees drug discovery projects that service the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. Dr. Montana has accrued nearly three decades of experience in his field.

Attributing his success to hard work and a love of medical research, Dr. Montana became involved in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals through his educational interests and the professional opportunities he received. He holds a Ph.D. in medicinal chemistry from the University of East Anglia. Before he became involved in pharmaceutical research, he played football for a number of English Football League clubs. Dr. Montana still loves sports and currently coaches children's soccer. He is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry. Looking forward, Dr. Montana hopes to grow Argenta Discovery to become the leading contract drug discovery organization focused on fully integrated drug discovery projects from target validation through to development candidate nomination.
