Isabelle Esser has been named a VIP Member of 2011-2012

PARIS, FRANCE, January 11, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Isabelle C.H. Esser, Vice President of Research and Development Savoury, Unilever, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in science.

Dr. Esser began working for Unilever as a scientist in 1992, and quickly advanced through her thirst for knowledge. She has a total of 19 years in her field, which has allowed her to perfect her consumer awareness skills. Her current responsibilities include strategic planning, overseeing research and development for the Savoury department, and managing the technical centers. She attributes her success to her curiosity, belief in people, and the support she has received.

Dr. Esser holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom as well as a degree in engineering from Louvain La Neuve. She is affiliated with a local chamber of commerce and holds membership to the Research Institute for Fragrance Materials. Going forward, Dr. Esser plans to continue to work hard and make a difference within Unilever.
