Known for being approachable and always conducting herself with integrity, Ms. Garven is a certified public accountant with nearly three decades of professional experience. For the past three years, she has operated her own practice, Mathieson Garven Associates. Ms. Garven oversees all aspects of her business and advises small businesses of all types. She meets with clients in her home office and often travels to clients upon their request. Prior to establishing her practice, she was an accountant with EMG Wandsworth for 26 years; she also served as partner of the firm. Ms. Garven hopes to explore more consulting opportunities in the years to come.

Ms. Garven is a fellow of the Society of Practicing Accountants and a member of the Association of Certified Public Accountants. She also serves as the auditor for a charitable trust affiliated with her local church.
