Joan Sawaya-Paiement successfully reinvented herself after two decades with the Montreal Stock Exchange

Ms. Sawaya-Paiement has honed her expertise in administration and management throughout the past three decades. After working as a senior executive vice president and general manager of the Montreal Stock Exchange for 20 years, and subsequently dedicating herself to raising her son and daughter full time, she reinvented herself, went back to school and earned a psychology degree. Today, Ms. Sawaya-Paiement serves as the executive director of Intermezzo Montreal, a trusted provider of high-level matchmaking and relationship coaching services. She works to develop new markets, generate sales and ensure the successful general administration of the firm. Ms. Sawaya-Paiement considers her success to be a direct result of her hard work.

In 2008, Mrs. Sawaya-Paiement earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology Summa Cum Laude with a minor in Italian studies from Concordia University. She previously earned a bachelor's degree in business and accounting from the same institution in 1981. She aspires to continue to make many more people happy by finding the right partner for them.
