Debra A. Worden Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Veterans Affairs
Ms. Worden addresses problems within the VA system and helps get benefits to veterans as quickly as possible

DETROIT, MI, February 1, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Debra Worden, Director of Veterans Affairs for St. Clair County, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in veterans affairs.

With 14 years of experience as the director of veterans affairs for St. Clair County, Ms. Worden resolves conflicts within the department and utilizes her diplomatic skills to solve problems that arise as a result of these conflicts. She is responsible for the oversight and management of all veteran's services within St. Clair County and Lapeer County, Michigan. Ms. Worden is a former veteran of the U.S. Air Force. In addition to her position with St. Clair County, she has a small business in the golf industry. She has aggressively spearheaded veterans benefit claim development strategies, which result in accurate and timely outcomes of disputes.

Ms. Worden received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Nevada in Las Vegas. She is a member of The American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, 40 Hommes Et & 8 Voiture 1536, AMVETS, and Associate Member of the Marine Corps League. Ms. Worden has obtained accreditation with 9 veterans service organizations with the common goal of representing veterans and their families with the Veterans Administration. In years to come, Ms. Worden hopes to solidify a larger VA program and address some of the problems inherent to the system, getting veterans the benefits they deserve in a timely fashion.
