Tracy Simcoe Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Patient Care
Ms. Simcoe has cultivated advanced team leadership and collaborative skills
La SALLE, MB, CANADA, February 2, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tracy Simcoe, Manager of Patient Services for Critical Care at Victoria General Hospital, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in patient care.
As a manager of patient services for the critical care unit of Victoria General Hospital, Ms. Simcoe has twenty two years of experience with patient care, of which the last five years have been in management. In the course of her duties with the hospital, she has developed impressive team leadership and collaborative skills, which she uses to manage the duties that are related to supervising registered nurses, staff and other healthcare providers. She is also responsible for advocating on behalf of patient concerns, overseeing team leadership, and collaborating for enhanced quality assurance standards of critical-care patients. She became involved in her profession due to her natural interest in the health care profession.
Ms. Simcoe received a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1998 from the University of Manitoba. She also has a diploma in Respiratory Therapy (1990) from the School of Respiratory Therapy, Health Sciences Center, Winnipeg, Manitoba. She is currently the President of the Manitoba Association of Registered Respiratory Therapists.
